would it be worth getting a memory card for the Xbox 360 to use it as a data backup?
just incase something happens to our 360
I have a pro but just incase something happens to that like IDK complete memory wipe or something I have a backup to restore what was lost
If you do choose to purchase a memory card, make sure you also buy the Datel Transfer Kit. I have a 256 MB memory card and can use it to back up some profiles, game saves, and roster downloads from the web. Every month I'll back up the information on my memory card onto my computer's hard drive.
And by the way, your hard drive has the same chance of getting corrupted as your memory card. Purchasing a hard drive is not necessary unless you plan on downloading a lot of movies online.
To answer your question, yes, dropping the $20 get a memory card is worth it. But, make sure you get that Datel Transfer Kit (which can be bough on eBay for $25) as well.
Good luck!

The memory card has limited space, so only your Gamertags, and maybe an Arcade game would be backed up. Maybe look into 20GB hard drives?
