   that’s the same …
   that’s the same reason i believe americans are that way. you are just living proof of it, you use social classes as an example. judging people based on ‘higher class’ is not what i believe in. i believe on the person inside. moral value. there probably are americans who arent like that, but i have yet to find one.

   After I backup my data, suppose I replace my PS3’s HDD with a larger one. How would I go about putting the data back INTO the PS3’s new HDD so that I won’t have to re-download, replay and reinstall everything?

    I need to ship my …
    I need to ship my ps3 to sony to get it fixed, so i want to back up my game save datas and whatnot, but when i do this, it doesnt backup my games data, it backs up some other and its for some reason 7GB.. (P.S. i have deleted all my demos and songs and videos, only messages and game data remains)

    i have the same …
    i have the same problem bilbo 987 does, my external when being read on the ps3 says that there is no data. do i need to format my external or is the file there and it just doesn’t show? i’m mostly concerned with the data from my ps2 memory cards that i transferred to the ps3 hard drive(i’ve lost the memory cards)

    Thanks for the video, now to try that system update, and hope it doesn’t freeze the PS3 for a couple days again >_> (I probably will send it to sony, because of warrant, if it doesn’t work.)

    I tried to do this 4 times with a fat32 external hard drive and it just keeps saying no backup data found?? Whats up with that the utility does not work well from my attempts

    the update data is not held in the HDD but some where else so if if u were to buy a new HDD u would still have ur original firmware
